While men slept: Where is the adult supervision?

Matthew 13: 24, 25 says, “Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

I am going to talk to you about the behavior of Paula White and Rick Joyner. I put it off until the fire in my bones could no longer be contained.    I am pleading out of a broken heart for sanity against widespread foolishness that is really making us look bad to America.

Robin, I know your heart is for holiness, as is mine. I know you love people. I am not against what you wrote, however, I just wanted to give you some food for thought regarding Rick Joyner.

First, he simply repeated what another prophet gave. It is not his personal prophecy.

Secondly, Bob Jones was right about a lot of significant things and it’s still possible that this could happen in the future. Even if the prophecy about the football team is correct in the future, it doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be revival before or after, so it does not negate a move of God outside this event.

Thirdly, no, God probably doesn’t care who wins the game, but I have personally seen God use events to mark things and speak about things, so I would just encourage you to consider these possibilities.

Rick Joyner has been good in the past about admitting when he was wrong and it’s only been a handful of days anyway… so we have not given him much time to seek the Lord and ask about this.

I am totally for accountability and I know that is the heart of your message.

    Love you,

    Teresa
