Don’t Eat at Jezebel’s Table

I feel impressed at this time to put up a teaching on the spirit of Jezebel and how to thwart the attack of Jezebel and ask Holy Spirit to give you discernment in recognizing this spirit’s attack against you, your family, ministry and church. This is one spirit I absolutely hate because it nearly took my life, marriage, ministry and destiny. Therefore, when it comes to the spirit of Jezebel I come forth like a mighty warrior and tear the throne of Jezebel down when Holy Spirit tells me to against others in the body of Christ that are under its attack.

Part I Jezebel’s Table

1AFTER MANY days, the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain upon the earth. 2So Elijah went to show himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. 3And Ahab called Obadiah, who was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly; 4For when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water.) 5And Ahab said to Obadiah, Go into the land to all the fountains of water and to all the brooks; perhaps we may find grass to keep the horses and mules alive, that we lose none of the beasts. 6So they divided the land between them to pass through it. Ahab went one way and Obadiah went another way, each by himself. 7As Obadiah was on the way, behold, Elijah met him. He recognized him and fell on his face and said, Are you my lord Elijah? 8He answered him, It is I. Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 9And he said, What sin have I committed, that you would deliver your servant into the hands of Ahab to be slain? 10As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you. And when they said, He is not here, he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that they had not found you. 11And now you say, Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 12And as soon as I have gone out from you, the Spirit of the Lord will carry you I know not where; so when I come and tell Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me. But I your servant have feared and revered the Lord from my youth. 13Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the Lord, how I hid a hundred men of the Lord’s prophets by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water? 14And now you say, Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here; and he will kill me. 15Elijah said, As the Lord of hosts lives, before Whom I stand, I will surely show myself to Ahab today. 16So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah. 17When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, Are you he who troubles Israel? 18Elijah replied, I have not troubled Israel, but you have, and your father’s house, by forsaking the commandments of the Lord and by following the Baals. 19Therefore send and gather to me all Israel at Mount Carmel, and the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of [the goddess] Asherah, who eat at [Queen] Jezebel’s table. 1 Kings 18:1-19 AMP.

Here Jezebel has slain the prophets of God. The spirit of Jezebel hates the prophetic and is always after the prophetic VOICE of God to stop the Word of God from coming forth. Jezebel had persuaded Ahab to serve her gods and knew the power and the authority of Elijah’s God the true God. It was because of the threat of God’s prophets who would prophesy the Word of God that Jezebel was given orders from the gods she served to kill the prophets of God. Notice here that Jezebel has a “TABLE” a place where she feeds the prophets of Baal and Asherah, the gods whom she serves. Therefore, Elijah has Ahab send for the prophets that serve Baal and Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table to come to Mount Caramel. God showed me that the Jezebel spirit that operates has a table, representative of influence, where this spirit feeds others, most of whom might even operate in the prophetic area. However, the main influence of Jezebel is to feed people the food of the devil, not the true food of the Word of God. As Jesus said to Satan, 4But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4. The spirit of Jezebel knows how to woo others to it. What it will do in order to get you to sit at the table of Jezebel is feed you with flattery! Whenever, the spirit of Jezebel is trying to gain another person in its camp it will do so by feeding you with delicacies to entice you to sit at the table of Jezebel. 6Eat not the bread of him who has a hard, grudging, and envious eye, neither desire his dainty foods; 7For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].Proverbs 23:5-7 AMP. Here in Proverbs there are dainty foods which are used for enticing those who are not guarded to sit at the table of the unrighteous, of the hard, grudging, and envious one.

Jezebel will lure you to her (the spirit not person) table by giving you dainty foods, flattery. Usually, by telling you how awesome you are, recognizing you. Many people who have been wounded in their life are easily enticed to the table of Jezebel if they have not healed from their wounds and still have a root or tare the enemy has sown in them for Jezebel to pull on in order to persuade them to sit at her table. There is a FALSE ACCEPTANCE. Usually, people who have experienced rejection or abandonment issues will find this spirit very “nice or good.” They will believe that the person it is operating through is the most accepting or nicest person they have ever met. However, the niceness is a false niceness it is not genuine and it’s only motive is to lure you to the table of Jezebel. Therefore, Jezebel first gets others by preparing dainties, flatteries, and bringing you to a table where others have been lulled to sleep and flattered to gather you at her table. Elijah knowing Jezebel’s deceived prophets that she fed called for those prophets to come to Mount Caramel. 39When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and they said, The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God! 40And Elijah said, Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one escape. They seized them, and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and [as God’s law required] slew them there. 1 Kings 18: 39-40 AMP. It was there after Elijah had followed the instructions of the Lord to open up the eyes of those who had been deceived by Jezebel’s prophets and worshipped Baal. The people Elijah went to were people of Israel. The people that were chosen to serve God had been persuaded to serve a devil, a false god. Elijah was there to show them who was truly God and to stop being double minded going between two opinions of who was the true God. Once Elijah had completed what God had set him to complete it was then that the people’s eyes were opened and they realized that they had served a false God and repented stating that the True God was God! Then Elijah slew every prophet of Baal, as required by God’s law.

Jezebel was after the true prophetic voice because it led people to repentance from worshipping idols, false gods. As long as Jezebel could kill the prophets the message of the TRUE GOD would not go forth opening the eyes of the people to see their deception. When you are enticed by this spirit you truly believe that the person that this spirit is operating through is of God. Don’t get me wrong the person could be saved and most likely if they are operating through a ministry for Jesus they probably are saved but fall into serving another god without realizing it. How do you serve another god when you are saved. Israel did the same thing when they came out of Egypt. They believed that when Moses went up to the mountain to meet with God that while they were there at the bottom of the mountain and created the golden calf, they truly believed that the golden calf was god. This is not difficult. We either serve God and His will or we serve our own will (carnal nature) or we can also serve the devil’s will. The devil has a plan, it is to pull as many away from God and pull them toward himself. As long as we are not doing the will of God and obeying Him then the devil has a way to wiggle his way in our lives and get us to serve him. This is what Jezebel did. Jezebel had persuaded and fed others to sit at her table to feed them with her foods, her plans and purposes.

The spirit of Jezebel is always looking for those who have been wounded and rejected to entice them to sit at her table so she can persuade them to believe that her god is the true god and make people feel accepted and see how good and “NICE” she is so they will feel that, Jezebel is truly worshipping the True God. However, she is not worshipping the True God, she is worshipping the devil. However, the followers of Jezebel believe that it is really God they are deceived.

Part II Jezebel’s Message.

1AHAB TOLD Jezebel all that Elijah had done and how he had slain all the prophets [of Baal] with the sword. 2Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow. 3Then he was afraid and arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba of Judah [over eighty miles, and out of Jezebel’s realm] and left his servant there. 1 Kings 19 1-3 AMP.

Jezebel’s message was what terrified Elijah. Jezebel did not walk up to Elijah to scare or intimidate him, but it was the message she sent through ANOTHER to Elijah that scared him and put in fear of his life. The spirit of Jezebel that is operating through mainly one person does not go up in that main person to another and tell them things that put that person in fear. NO! That’s a waste of Jezebel’s time, because usually the Jezebel spirit has already persuaded people at her table that she is all good, she is of the True God, and they are deceived. So it is the messengers, those that do Jezebel’s work that go to the prophetic voice to dishearten them. It is said but I’ll tell it like it is. If you have been persuaded to not be hooked into Jezebel’s system, you buck the system because you are a threat to the false god being exposed and Jezebel will send messages of DEATH to you, your ministry, your family, your marriage in order to continue the work of keeping the deceptive blanket over people so they do not wake up to the deception like those in the nation of Israel who prostrated themselves before the True God, recognizing that Elijah’s God was the true God. They determined to serve God of Elijah not the false god of Jezebel.

Therefore Jezebel will send her little minions, messengers, to others to try and intimidate others. How do you know if you’re passing on the message of Jezebel because you can unwittingly be doing it and not really know it? WHAT IS THE FRUIT OF YOUR MESSAGE? Is the message life giving, encouraging, uplifting AND drawing people toward Jesus and the will of God? If the answer is yes then the message is not of Jezebel because the fruit is godly fruit. However, if the message is to intimidate, confuse, cause fear and inadequacy AND CONTROL, uh let me say it again CONTROL then the message is most likely from the spirit of Jezebel. Jezebel tries to keep her kingdom by intimidating others, controlling others through making them feel like they are stupid, inadequate, unqualified, and inferior, you name it. Sounds like what many people do when they think they know better how to run someone else’s life. This spirit does not waste time going straight to the person because the spirit has to many worker bees, to many servants that it will instead have all of the people eating at her table convinced that she is doing the work of the True God and it is up to all of her servants to go let the real deceived person know that what they are doing is not of God and it is up to Jezebel and her servants to MAKE THINGS RIGHT! See people who are deceived think they are serving the True God and God’s will but they are not it is Satan’s plan not God’s plan. Usually, it will operate through people’s immaturity where they are not conformed into the image of Christ Jesus to come against a person. The people will truly believed they are the ones enlightened and they have to protect the group and the person from themselves and start attacking the person by intimidating them and those attached to them. For instance, when someone doesn’t do what the spirit of Jezebel wants then the messengers of Jezebel will start going to the person who is not deceived and getting out of the SYSTEM, out of the CONTROL OF JEZEBEL and start making them feel like they are ungodly, they do not hear God, they are making bad decisions, they cannot make right decisions, and they need to be protected from themselves and definitely the group needs to protect the rest of the group from them. WHEN YOU SEE THIS RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM THAT GROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is not God! However, if God has told you not to leave and you have the strength to remain along with a few others who are not deceived then all I can tell you to do, as from personal experience is press in harder to God to know that you truly hear Him. When the spirit of Jezebel has finally been broken off of that group then true repentance will come and they will realize they did not serve the will of the True God.

Holy Spirit showed me that the spirit of Jezebel will try and come much like an octopus and try to puppet people by putting three tentacles in that person’s spiritual spine. As things are in the natural they are in the spirit. We have a spiritual body, too. We are body, soul and spirit. God has given me many dreams about Jezebel and showed me how Jezebel looks like an octopus, much like the movie the Little Mermaid. The whole purpose of the octopus in the little mermaid was to take away the little mermaids VOICE! The spirit of Jezebel hates the prophetic voice and tries to squeeze the voice of God out of people. Therefore, many times it operates along with the Python spirit which is another teaching. From personal experience when I got away from a Jezebel spirit I literally felt my back open from my neck to the bottom of my spine and I felt like three huge octopus tentacles had come out of my spine and as though my back was sown back together. Immediately I felt the life, the breath of God enter me and I realized that the Jezebel spirit had been sucking on my anointing, the anointing of God in me and I felt like all life was being sucked out of me. It was looking good by using and sucking my anointing in order to appear as though it was anointed. Holy Spirit showed me that it takes three of these tentacles to puppet you or make you a servant of the spirit of Jezebel. God showed me that it was three fold because a THREE FOLD CORD IS NOT QUICKLY BROKEN Ecclesiastes 4:12. The Spirit Jezebel will flatter you to gather you to her table to put one tentacle in you and then later when you start serving her a little bit will put another tentacle in you and it’s goal is to put the third tentacle in you so you will become her servant. It is that cord that you have to break with the power of Holy Spirit. While I was being controlled by Jezebel I would have many times I felt confused or like did I really hear God. I believed I truly heard God and I truly did when He told me His will for my life. However, the Jezebel spirit will try and make you like you don’t hear God and you are making poor decisions and mostly that you cannot make a decision without telling Jezebel or getting Jezebel’s input. I will continue this but this is the first part.

Also, if you have been in a group that has a strong Jezebel spirit ask Holy Spirit to expose in your life any areas in which you might have tried to Jezebel others or continue Jezebel’s message. Then ask Holy Spirit to expose in your life the areas in which Jezebel is attacking you because most likely there is still a wound from which that spirit has a hook in you; how it is allowed to operate.

What Holy Spirit showed me is to STOP THE MESSAGE Jezebel is sending. Don’t answer the phone, don’t talk to the person who is operating in this spirit or is a messenger by this spirit in a conversation. We will look at the next part but the whole purpose is to get you in a conversation or engaged so you can be controlled, persuaded to do the will of Jezebel. I tell people not to open emails, listen to voice mails, repeat the offense, discuss, whatever it might be anything by this spirit. CUT IT OFF!
